Burr. Stefan Isler ‘Lava Flow'

 

This deep burgundy and orange Burrageara hybrid was created by crossing a  Cochlioda x Miltonia x Odontoglossum and an Oncidum.   Since each cross takes about 7 years from seed to flower and there are multiple crosses this one took a while to hybridize.  It is accentuated with a bit of yellow at the top of the lip.  Flowers are approximately 1 ½ inches across.
